Pnu Power Air-DRUPS™ systems are direct replacements for flywheel and battery-driven UPS solutions, for data centre
and other large applications. The compressed air power train provides instantaneous backup power via an industry standard
UPS unit and in the event of a longer outage will automatically trigger the start of an integral diesel generator.
The outstanding advantage of Air-DRUPS™ systems is that there are no moving parts and no loss of stored energy in standby mode.
Standby power consumption is confined to control electronics using a few watts. Air-DRUPS™ systems are therefore exceptionally energy
efficient, with a very low carbon footprint.
